Files that cannot be read get their own status, and search supports exact phrases.

Highlights​

Unprocessable status​

A file that cannot be read now gets the Unprocessable status, a final state like Discarded and Filtered. Temporary problems, such as timeouts, are still retried automatically. An Unprocessable task is locked, shown in a warning colour and included in the Processed folder's default filter, so it is counted with your processed work.

Put a query in quotes, such as "Invoice 2024-Q3", to find that exact phrase. Without quotes, search matches on terms as before. The search bar tells you when it is matching exactly, and an empty search is ignored instead of showing an error.

Import & document processing​

  • Base64 file uploads: the API accepts files as base64 as well as multipart.
  • Filter by auto-processed: find tasks that were processed without review.

Fixes​

  • Opening an invitation link no longer crashes the page.
  • Uniqueness is checked per group, so valid values are accepted.

Week of 11 May​

AI & data​

  • Managing samples: remove a sample in AI Studio, or copy samples between objectives.

Import & document processing​

  • Unprocessable status: described above.
  • Original filenames on download: files downloaded from the upload view keep their filename, with the right extension if the name has none.
  • Line breaks in spreadsheet cells: a cell with several lines shows them as separate lines.

Administration & access​

  • Pending invitations: an invited user who has not yet accepted sees a prompt to join the organisation.
  • View-roles permission: team roles always include this permission, and its checkbox is removed.

Fixes​

  • Documents created by splitting are no longer named document.pdf.pdf.
  • Moving tasks between folders works again.

Week of 18 May​

AI & data​

  • Grouping model summary: a trained grouping model shows its rules as a plain-language summary, cleared when you edit the configuration by hand.
  • Label-based reranking: an optional extraction setting that picks the examples best matching the incoming document. Off by default.
  • Per-label model instructions: label instructions set in a specific model are used during extraction.

Validation​

  • Business Rule generation: generated rules no longer use operators that are not supported.

Import & document processing​

  • Outlook email bodies: .msg email bodies display as formatted messages.

Export​

  • Export file names: export files have a readable name.

Administration & access​

  • Copy a project between teams: copy a single-step project to another team. Connections are cleared, external lookup fields become text fields, and API keys and email addresses are reset.
