Configuration

Projects organize your document processing workflows with configurable settings for import, validation, and export processes.

Project Properties

Name

The project identifier supporting alphanumeric characters, whitespace, underscores, and hyphens. Must be unique within your team and between 2-25 characters.

Description

Provides context to AI models about your document types. This description directly influences processing accuracy and should align with your specific use cases. Required field with 20-10,000 characters.

Examples:

  • "Medical documents containing patient information and diagnostic reports"
  • "Financial invoices requiring structured data extraction"
  • "Legal contracts with specific clauses and terms identification"

Icon

Visual identifier with customizable icon and color (primary, amber, green, red) for easy project recognition. Optional setting with default icon provided.

Folder Management

Each project includes default folders for document organization and workflow management.

Default Folders

  • Inbox - Uploads that are being processed or awaiting human review
  • Processed - Uploads where all tasks have reached an end-state (completed or discarded)*
  • Reported - Uploads that can't be processed for particular reasons
  • Bin - Deleted or discarded uploads

*When connectors are configured, data is automatically exported once all tasks finish. Without connectors, processed data remains available for manual download file creation.

Custom Folders

Create additional folders with custom names (2-15 characters) and URL identifiers to organize uploads according to your specific workflow needs. Custom folders inherit the same member access controls as the project.

Project Deletion

Available through project card menu (⋯ icon). Deletion is irreversible - all project data is permanently cleared after 10 days.
