Native PDFs process faster with better text, and the original email is kept for every inbound message.

Highlights​

Native PDF OCR​

Native PDFs, such as those created by accounting systems or word processors, already contain their text. They are no longer converted to images before OCR: each document is split into pages and passed to OCR directly. Native PDFs now process faster and with better text quality. Scanned documents are handled as before.

Original email storage​

When a document arrives by email, the original message is now stored as a file on the upload, next to the body and attachments created from it. You keep the message as received, with its headers, for audits and disputes, and it can be processed again from the original.

  • Microsoft OCR: Microsoft is available as a second OCR engine, chosen per project, with correct page rotation.

  • Project versions pagination: the project versions table is paginated.

  • Signatures and checkboxes: single-step projects can update signature and checkbox elements through the document endpoints, as multi-step projects can.
  • Template lines: the template editor supports line elements.

  • Resume grouping training: continue training a grouping model from its existing configuration.
  • Email body page numbers: samples from email bodies record page numbers, as file samples do.

Validation​

  • Business Rule generation: generated rules no longer use operators that are not allowed.

Interface​

  • More search: more listings can be searched.

Fixes​

  • Grouping training results now match what the model does in production.
  • The AI Studio role can be assigned in organisation settings again.

  • Lookup list sorting and filtering: sort and filter lookup lists; the editor handles large lists.
  • Document context: more document context is available during validation.
