October 2026

Large scanned batches now split reliably into separate documents, email exports wait for confirmed delivery, and organisations can set up single sign-on themselves.

Highlights

Splitting large scanned batches

Projects that split one incoming file into several documents now cut each document straight out of the original PDF. The resulting documents keep their original text and image quality and stay close to the size of the pages they contain. Large scans that used to fail to split now go through: a 54-page scan, for example, now comes out as 13 documents. A document can also combine pages from more than one file, such as an email body and its attachment.

Availability

Off by default. Ask your Send AI contact to switch it on for a project.

Confirmed delivery for email exports

An email export now stays in review until every recipient has received the message. The task's activity shows the delivery state: sending, delayed, delivered, opened, or sent without confirmation if no answer arrives within two hours. If a message is rejected, the export fails and shows the receiving server's reason next to the task.

Each connector also has a Deliveries page listing every notification, export and test message sent through it, with filters, search and a date range. Delivery history is kept for 180 days.

Self-service single sign-on

Organisation administrators can now set up single sign-on themselves, without contacting Send AI. A three-step wizard supports SAML and OIDC. You verify each email domain with a DNS TXT record, then choose whether single sign-on is required for that domain and which role new members get. People who sign in for the first time join automatically with that role. The sign-in page now starts with your work email address and finds your organisation from it. Every change to the configuration appears in the organisation's audit history.

Week of 5 October

AI & data

  • Splitting large scanned batches: described above.
  • Group pages by a value on the page: splitting rules can start a new document whenever a value read from the page text changes, such as an invoice number. Pages without the value stay with the document before them.

Interface

  • Stacked view in the grouping editor: a third view next to list and grid that shows each group as a stack of pages with its page count. Click a stack to unfold it.
  • Magnifier in the grouping editor: a toggle that turns the cursor into a lens with three times enlargement, so you can check a number without opening the page.

Fixes

  • Anonymising long documents no longer fails.
  • Documents cut out of a split scan no longer fail to parse.

Week of 12 October

AI & data

  • Training run history: every training run is now kept, with its settings, dataset, metrics and log, per model and across the organisation. You can cancel a run in progress, and a failed run marks the model as failed.
  • Training hardware: a setting on the new version page to choose a standard (40 GB) or large (80 GB) accelerator. Base models that need the large one select it automatically.

Integrations

Export

Administration & access

  • Self-service single sign-on: described above.
  • Organisation console: organisation settings now open in their own console, with an overview and pages for members, teams, single sign-on and data retention. A short security checklist shows what is still to set up.

Fixes

  • Saving a field that uses a lookup API on a single-step project works again.
  • Creating a project with the name of a deleted project works again; a number is added to the name.
  • A project with a missing configuration no longer stops the team's project list from loading.
  • The upload message no longer says "Uploading 1 files".

Week of 19 October

AI & data

  • Inference logs: every prediction a model makes is now listed in AI Studio for 30 days, with its step, version, team, project, status, latency and tokens. Open an entry to see what the model returned.

Validation

  • Faster lookup validation: fields checked against large lookup lists, including their translations, resolve faster.

Administration & access

  • Organisation settings: a General page for the organisation name, logo, contact details, and the team and role that new members get by default.
  • Organisation audit log: a dated list of who changed what in the organisation, with filters by area and person.
  • Guided single sign-on setup: setting up Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID or Okta now follows that provider's own field names and screens. Certificate fields accept the file you download from the provider.
  • Domain verification: you can now add and verify an email domain without setting up an identity provider first. Verified domains stay if you remove a single sign-on connection.
  • Organisation role permissions: managing teams, members and models in an organisation now follows your organisation role.

Interface

  • Last used team on sign-in: signing in takes you to the team you used most recently.

Fixes

  • Validation keeps up when you edit many fields quickly in the extraction editor.
  • Re-inviting someone who is already a member no longer resets their role.
  • Removing someone from an organisation now removes them from every project they were in.
