Email Connectors
Email connectors allow you to send data via email.
Configuration Options
When setting up an Email connector, you'll need to provide:
- Name - A descriptive name for the connector
- Email Address - The recipient email address
Reply Options
When using email connectors with notifications, you have two options:
- Reply to Sender - Send notifications as replies to the original email that created the upload
- This option only works for uploads created via email
- For API-created uploads, no notification will be sent if this option is selected
- Forward to Address - Send notifications to the specified email address
- Works for all uploads regardless of how they were created
- Recommended for consistent notification delivery
Testing the Connection
After configuring your Email connector, you can test it:
- Add the connector to the export settings inside a project.
- Upload a file to the project.
- Hit process and check your email for a notification.
Best Practices
- Consider setting up email filters to organize notifications.
- When used for notifications, consider using the "Reply to Sender" option to maintain threads inside your email client.
- For critical notifications, consider using HTTP connectors instead of email for more reliable delivery.
