Project settings are now split into separate sections, pipelines can be edited in the interface, and templates gain a time field type.

Project settings sections​

Project settings are now split into separate sections, each with its own screen and save button: folders, import, reporting, webhooks, labels, and the settings for older single-step projects. Changing one area no longer means saving unrelated settings again, and a validation error points at the setting that caused it. The labels overview also handles larger label sets.

Fixes​

  • Deleting an entity now updates the templates that use it.
  • Group actions show a loading state again.

Week of 12 May​

Import & document processing​

  • Image enhancement: image uploads can be enhanced and trimmed during parsing.

Integrations​

  • Upload endpoint for non-web clients: a dedicated upload endpoint for clients outside the web app, authenticated with a service account token.

Fixes​

  • Changes to classification labels are saved correctly again.
  • An incomplete request no longer partially applies a project update.
  • Whether a task can be edited is shown correctly in all states.

Prediction & processing​

  • Pipeline editing: edit pipelines in the interface. Removing a step keeps the history of tasks that ran through it.

Integrations​

  • API keys for the upload endpoint: your API keys also work with the upload endpoint for non-web clients.

Fixes​

  • Reviewers no longer see outdated content after a version change.
  • Translation lookups on validation fields work correctly again.
  • Simultaneous uploads are handled correctly.

Week of 26 May​

Validation​

  • Time field type: a field type for times of day, next to date and number.

Prediction & processing​

  • Model per pipeline step: point a pipeline step at a specific model and choose which of its labels the step uses.
  • Breaking changes shown: the interface tells you when a configuration change affects tasks already in progress, and pipelines show when the last breaking change happened.
  • Active pipeline steps: the pipeline view shows which steps are running and which are configured but idle.

Fixes​

  • A case where a task could be exported twice is fixed.
  • The forward button works again in all task states.
