October 2025

Data Studio became a working product, classification can now be trained from examples, and reporting arrived.

Highlights​

Data Studio​

Data Studio is where you manage a model's training data. Import samples from projects or upload them directly, edit their annotations in place, and build, filter and export sample sets independently of any project. October added sample lists, a sample editor, bulk actions and file download. Each sample set is linked to the extraction model it trains.

Week of 6 October​

AI & data​

Validation​

  • Business Rules layout: Business Rules are reorganised in the interface.
  • New date format: dates in the dd:MM:yy format are recognised.

Integrations​

  • Connector timeouts: HTTP connectors have a configurable timeout, 30 seconds by default.

Fixes​

  • Connector secrets work in all configurations.
  • Sorting annotation fields no longer overwrites computed fields.
  • OAuth2 connectors without scopes can be created.

Week of 13 October​

AI & data​

  • Sample management: bulk actions on sample sets, sample import and bulk editing in Data Studio.

Prediction & processing​

  • Classification by example: a new classification model can be trained from examples, like extraction.
  • Reorder tasks: reorder the tasks within an upload when document order matters.
  • Validation render type: a field can specify how it is shown during validation.
  • Reported folder: reported tasks can be moved to a dedicated folder.

Interface​

  • Partial table view: large result sets load in a lighter table.

Week of 20 October​

AI & data​

  • Data Studio editing: edit annotations, download files and import data in Data Studio.

Validation​

  • Empty computed fields: a computed field without a value is now calculated.
  • Optional lookup fields: optional lookup list fields no longer warn when they are empty.
  • Dates within text: dates surrounded by other text are parsed.

Import & document processing​

  • HTML email parsing: HTML email bodies are parsed with their structure intact.
  • Relevance sorting: search results are sorted by relevance.

Reporting​

  • Reporting: see the volumes processed per project over time.

Interface​

  • Label side panel: all single-step projects have the label side panel.

Fixes​

  • Long sessions no longer run into sign-in expiry problems.
  • Export data is complete and correctly formatted in all configurations.
  • The validation tab no longer crashes when a request fails.
